Einladungskarte für einen runden Geburtstag/Birthday Party Invite

(English below pictures)

Hier also die Einladungskarten.

[blue_box]My family is not really known for celebrating birthdays with lavish parties. Invitations are usually made over the telephone. Special invitation cards are therefore very rare. But my dad celebrates his seventieth birthday in a couple of weeks. And this time there are more people to be invited than the regular extended family. So I got to craft some invites!

Which had me in a bit of trouble, because Stampin Up currently does not have any German “Invitation” stamps in the catalogue. Not in a decent size, anyways. This time my local craft store could help, though!

I used Stampin Up DSP and card stock for this project. The inlay is transparent paper from the craft store that I’ve printed on with my laser printer. It’s glued to the card stock with some mini glue dots. They are barely noticeable!

The “70” is stamped with the “Back to Basics Alphabet” stamp set.[/blue_box]
